I'm happy to have you meet a girl whose like family to us. This is Megan, and she is a wonderful addition to our Glitz face. She will be helping me with photographing for my new spring line this April. I'm looking forward to you coming back then to take a look at my new goodies!
![]() I'd like to take a few minutes to introduce to you a very talented new and upcoming painter in glass smith artistry. Shelly Oxman Victor is originally from Wisconsin and currently lives in Kirkland, Wa. She was first introduced to the art of glass blowing and painting by a friend inviting her to a class. Shelly was immediately hooked and has been using her time to increase her knowledge and skills of the art. It is definately paying off because in just a few short months she is showing great promise and is looking at offering her pieces to stores in the near future. ![]() If you are interested in seeing and finding out more about her pieces or would like to inquire about special ordering you can contact Shelly at svict@aol.com. While jewelry is always fun to shop for and wear we also see it as completing our physical appearance. I would like to remind each of us that with the importance of looking good, our jewelry, clothes, makeup and hair can only compliment how well we are on the inside. Even more important is our complete health; mind, body and soul. Busy schedules, every day pressures of life, hereditary factors, life experiences, excercise, the quality of our sleep and eating choices, the water we drink and the air we breathe; these all have an impact on our overall physical appearance also. With this new year upon us I know many of us are looking at things in our lives to change or improve on. I challenge each of us to NOT set 'new year' resolutions but rather look at it as incorporating new healthy 'habits' into our daily lives throughout this year. To NOT have our focus on that top ten model figure and Victoria Secret bikini or trying to impress anyone else, even 'Mr. McSteamy' at the office or living just down the hall. Instead focus on your well being, looking at these new 'habits' as a life long change to improve our overall health, quality and longevity of our lives. ![]() To help get us started I would like to give you the names of some people and groups that have greatly helped me and many others I know. Dr. Leslie DeGasparis, ND. http://www.bellevuechiropracticclinic.org/ Sheree James/Shake it Off Dance Fitness http://comeshakeitoff.com/class-info/ Kitty Jones/LTLG http://www.thelearntoletgoandgrowworkshops.com/ I hope this new year finds you all healthy and that you all are enjoying your holiday break and got a chance to relax, reflect and enjoy some time with your family and friends, we certainly did with ours and as always one of the major highlights was watching our grand daughter at Christmas. Everything is so new to her and she is growing and learning so fast, we love just being there to see it all!
