Pre-Thanksgiving Opening!

I am excited to announce the new online store is OPEN! Feel free to look around and see what all the excitement is about. After so many LONG tedious hours and HARD work I am SO tickled to share this with all of you.
To celebrate, I have put many existing items at 50% off their regular prices. You will find these items located in the sale/clearance section of the shop.
With all the months working on this side of the business I have had to set aside designing and making jewelry so my new stock on hand is low right now but not to worry, I have already begun on some pieces this week!
The holiday season is upon us and I will be holding off any special orders until Feb.1, 2013 just so I can focus on getting as many items made for you to choose from for holiday gifts for your family and friends.
Don't forget that in a pinch you can always go to one of the physical stores that I am featured in..
The Laurel Tree Art Gallery in Duvall, Wa. or Salon Zeka in Kenmore, Wa.
You may also want to sign up for my quarterly newsletter to keep in touch with new upcoming trends and any events or news.
Say hello and please let me know you stopped by the web shop and HAPPY shopping! :) Lisa Marie

Time To Think

As I sit here this rainy Sunday fall afternoon I finally have a little time to myself to enjoy the quiet, reflect on the busyness of this season and contemplate the coming holidays. Time goes so fast, we just finished celebrating a slew of birthdays, anniversary and our oldest daughters' college graduation.
We host Thanksgiving every year nowadays so with it just around the corner my husband brought home a 24 pound turkey to help feed our Thanksgiving feast of 19 this year! In our home my husband enjoys the duties of cooking the turkey and making the gravy while I take care of most of the side dishes, table setting, decor and cleanup. Everyone helps out by bringing a side dish to share.
This year will be a first having this many here at one time. It's such a joy and a blessing to see our family grow, it will make all the work getting ready worth it. I can hardly wait!

Annual Fall Gem Fair

11/10/2012

Today a friend and I went to the Tacoma Domes' annual fall gem fair. Not only was it good to go because I didn't go last year and had run out of alot of well liked stones and gems for my 'peeps' but after so much time solely focusing on the other half of the business it gave me some much needed fun with my friend.
Being there also gave me the opportunity to 'soak up' my senses with all the endless beautiful gems that were there, allowing my creativity to start flowing again as I awed over the continuous rows of tables filled with all different colors, shapes, sparkles and textures. I have alot of 'fun' work to catch up on!

Calling All Crafty People

For any of you crafty people out there I wanted to share an idea with you I found while visiting one of my favorite stores the other day. It's a new fun project that would be great to do with your kiddos or grandkids for this Thanksgiving.
Picture
Supplies:
Medium sized pinecones
Wiggle eyes
2 in Brown puff balls
Yellow and red felt for nose and gobble
Feathers
Glue gun and  glue sticks
Note:
Variation for tail could be different colored pipe cleaners rounded.
I would suggest this project would probably work well for as young as 4-5 year olds *as long as there is adult help and supervision.

The Final Touches

You all have heard much over time about me having a new website soon that you all could shop from. Thanks to a friend of mine that pointed me to a wonderful gal who is equipped with the skills needed and was available to build me a new website my struggling with program coding is over! Not to say all the work is off of my shoulders but it has lifted a HUGE burden.
This next week I will be putting the final touches to the whole ordering/payment processes and testing 'dummy' orders to try and make sure everything is working properly. Then, thanks to Sara Schneider Design.com I will open the store for business. Woot woot, here we go!
